ADPoly Meteorology Students Visit National Center of Meteorology

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic Meteorology Program students participated in an academic field trip to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) in Abu Dhabi, gaining direct exposure to operational meteorological systems and professional practices.

During the visit, students engaged with NCM experts and explored key operational areas, including weather forecasting systems, radar and satellite monitoring, cloud seeding operations, and early warning services. The experience provided valuable insight into how meteorological services support national safety, environmental monitoring, and public communication.

The visit also allowed students to better understand the operational environment, technical systems, and career pathways within the UAE’s meteorology sector.
