ADPoly Students Complete Industrial Field Visit to Ducab

Abu Dhabi Polytechnic students completed an industrial field visit to Dubai Cable Company – Ducab’s electrical cable manufacturing facilities, enhancing their understanding of engineering and advanced manufacturing processes.

During the visit, students explored the production environment and gained valuable insight into engineering operations, industrial workflows, and quality standards within the UAE’s power solutions sector. This experience provided practical exposure to professional engineering environments and reinforced students’ awareness of operational excellence in modern manufacturing.

Students from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic gained hands-on industry exposure during their visit to Ducab, supporting workforce development, strengthening industry-academia collaboration, and building skills for a technology-driven future.

Ducab also showcased its contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, and 9 through workforce readiness and industrial capability.
