Welcome to the program of Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMET) at AD Poly. Our department offers outstanding undergraduate programs that prepare students for today’s rapidly changing environment. We offer a range of applied programs with innovative curricula that are regularly updated to meet the changing needs of industry and major stakeholders in the UAE. Our catalog features carefully designed courses to form a solid foundation of knowledge, application of skills and professional practice necessary for electromechanical engineering. It is the industry-reflective curricula, hands-on experiences in professional labs, dedicated faculty, and commitment to research and application that make the EMET program successful in the region.

Our well-equipped labs support fundamental theories taught in the classroom while engaging students in hands-on activities to foster practical learning and application of skills. The labs also support the research efforts of students under the supervision of our dedicated faculty.

Our Applied Bachelor (AB) and Higher Diploma (HD) programs in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics Engineering Technology and Instrumentation & Control Engineering Technology are fully accredited by CAA and the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
