Dr. Emir Vajzovic

Dr. Emir Vajzović is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Security Engineering Technology (ISET) at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. He held positions as Associate Professor of Security Studies at the University of Sarajevo (BiH), Head of the Research Institute, and Head of the Master Programme in Information Security.

He has 20 years of experience in researching, teaching, and praxis in cross-discipline areas of security, cyberspace, GRC, communications, and education. In research and academic work, he applies an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complexities of the digital transformation of society, education, and information/cyber security within the information, media, and platform environment. Under his leadership, feasible and sustainable models of Scientific Research Platforms and Infrastructure in Digital Literacy and Information Security are developed.
