ADPoly ISET Students Excel at Cyber Battle Capture the Flag Competition
Information Security Engineering Technology (ISET) students from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic participated in the Cyber Battle Capture the Flag Competition on November 7th. Organized by the ADNOC in collaboration with the UAE Cyber Security Council, this competitive event was held at the ADIPEC 2024 Exhibition. The Cyber Battle Capture the Flag Competition included a pre-qualification round and a final round, known as Champions Day, both designed to enhance students’ cybersecurity knowledge through scenario-based challenges aligned with the latest trends.
Representing ADPoly’s ISET Department, the following students advanced through the pre-qualification round, ranking among the top scorers and qualifying for Champions Day:

Competing against peers from 11 universities across the UAE, the ADPoly team showcased exceptional skills, with all students progressing to Champions Day.
During Champions Day, an intensive final round, two ADPoly students secured top rankings. Rawdha Yaslem Mabrook Al Braiki (M00006012) achieved 2nd place, and Mahra Musabbeh Hasan Almazrouei (M00005684) placed 3rd. Other participants from ADPoly continued to excel, placing 4th, 5th, and 6th in the competition, reflecting the strength of the institution’s cybersecurity training.
This competition provided ADPoly students with valuable experience in real-life cybersecurity scenarios, further developing their practical skills in a team-based environment.
