ADPoly Students Compete in IEEE CyberX Day CTF Cyber Champion 2026

Hands-on cybersecurity challenges continue to play a key role in applied learning, as Information Security Engineering Technology students from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic—members of the IEEE ADPoly Student Chapter—took part in the IEEE CyberX Day – Capture the Flag (CTF) Cyber Champion 2026 competition.

The competition was powered by Huawei and ZINAD, organized by University of Dubai, the IEEE UAE Section, and the C-SAR Center (Cyber-Security & Applied Resilience), and supported by the Dubai Electronic Security Center.

The participating students were Rashed Al Jneibi, Kareem Almazrouei, Hazza Alketbi, Ahmed Alhosani, Khaled Alsaadi, and Saif Alazazi.

Such participation contributes to Abu Dhabi Polytechnic’s ongoing efforts to bridge academic learning with real-world cybersecurity practice, while strengthening technical capability, professional readiness, and alignment with industry expectations.
