UAE Cybersecurity Council Conducts Cyber Drill to Enhance Sector-Wide Resilience
The Cybersecurity Council recently hosted a series of Cyber Drills under the “Cyber Pulse” initiative at Cyber Pulse Innovation Center, Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. Held over three days from September 16 to 18, these drills were designed to enhance participants’ response capabilities to cyber threats across critical sectors. The sessions covered five simulated cyber threat scenarios affecting key areas, including education, healthcare, food, financial services, and infrastructure sectors such as water, energy, and various digital services.
This initiative aligns with the national cybersecurity strategy, focusing on strengthening the skills of trainees in identifying, mitigating, and managing cybersecurity risks in vital sectors. The drills represent the Council’s commitment to building a resilient cybersecurity framework across the UAE’s essential services.
