Description
This course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of aviation legislation to enable maintenance work to be done within the requirements of the law. Topics covered include the international regulatory framework from the United Nations to national levels, including the role of ICAO, CAR-66 (Certifying Staff-Maintenance), and CAR-145 (Approved Maintenance Organisation). The course also covers documents required under aircraft certifications, continuing airworthiness of the aircraft, approved maintenance organisations, and the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO).
