Description
This course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of aviation legislation to enable maintenance work to be done within the requirements of the law. It covers the international regulatory framework from the United Nations to the national level, including the role of ICAO, CAR-66 (Certifying Staff-Maintenance), and CAR-145 (Approved Maintenance Organisation). The course also covers the purpose of documents required under aircraft certifications, the continuing airworthiness of aircraft, approved maintenance organisations, and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO).
