Description
This course covers various aircraft systems, including fire protection (fire and smoke detection, fire warning), hydraulic power (hydraulic system components, reservoirs, pumps, accumulators, valves, and fluid), and fuel systems (layout, components, fueling, and defueling). Additional topics include Flight Control Systems (primary and secondary controls, manually and power-operated systems), Landing Gear (purposes, types, extension and retraction, shock strut, wheels, tires, brakes, nose steering), Pneumatic Systems, operation of On-Board Maintenance systems, and operation and function of electrical power generation.
