Description
This course provides students with the fundamental principles of aerodynamics. The course will focus on the physics of the atmosphere and basic aerodynamics, including the airflow around a body, airfoil sections, the aerodynamic forces acting on the aircraft, generation of aerodynamic lift, and different types of aerodynamic drag. The course also includes the theory of flight, aerodynamic forces, aircraft performance during steady-level flight, climb and descent, and turning, along with aircraft stability and flight dynamics.
