Description
This course covers various aircraft systems, including fire protection (fire and smoke detection, fire warning), hydraulic power (components, reservoirs, pumps, accumulators, valves, fluid), and fuel systems (layout, components, fueling, and defueling). Additional topics include flight control systems (primary and secondary controls, manually and power-operated systems), landing gear (purposes, types, extension and retraction, shock strut, wheels, tires, brakes, nose steering), pneumatic systems, onboard maintenance systems, and electrical power generation.
