Aircraft Maintenance Technology

Program Specialization

The area of specializations for AMT are Aeromechanics and Avionics. The Aeromechanics option covers all aspects of the curricula relative to mechanical sciences based aircraft systems and leads to the category “A1.1” and some major parts of the category “B1.1” license. The Avionics option covers those aspects of the category “A1.1” and the major part of electrical and electronics based aircraft systems of category “B2” avionics license. The following is a breakdown of credit hour content of each of the three main areas for each of the concentrations:
