Aircraft Maintenance Technology

Program Structure

The program is structured with basis in aircraft maintenance technology curricula that is outlined by the governing local and European civil aviation authorities as category “A” under Part 66 and CAR 147 of the corresponding legislations. The program covers three main areas referred to as, General, Program, and Specialization Requirements, in addition On Campus training, On the Job Training, and a Capstone project. The AMT has two specializations which include Aeromechanical and Avionics.

The Aeromechanical option covers all aspects of the curricula relative to airframe, powerplant, and aircraft systems. The Avionics option covers those aspects of electrical and electronics based aircraft systems.
