Dr. Gorkem Yalin has completed his PhD from Eskisehir Technical University, Türkiye. He previously worked as a research assistant at Anadolu University, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Part 147 approved School). He served as a founding faculty member and vice director within the scope of Part 147 recognized school at Civil Aviation Collage, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University. Currently he is working as an assistant professor at the department of Aircraft Maintenance Technology at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, Al Ain Campus. His research interests are fuel cells and hydrogen technologies on aviation applications, sustainable energy, aircraft systems, thermodynamics, and energy systems. He has reviewed publications and completed research projects. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience at Civil Aviation Collages.
Moreover, he has many certificates in aviation such as: Aviation Legislation Training (Initial, Compatible with Module10), Low Visibility Operations Training (Initial), Fuel Tank Safety Phase2 Training (Initial), Shy-M/EASA part-M Training (Initial), Shy-145/EASA part-145 Training (Initial), Human Factor for Training Maintenance Staff (Initial, Compatible with Module 9), Safety Management System Training (Initial), GCAA Voluntary Reporting System.
