Dr. Fawwaz Alkhatib

Dr. Fawwaz Alkhatib holds a Ph. D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. During his rich university career in teaching and research he served in different administrative positions. Dr. Alkhatib joint Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineering Technology Department at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, Abu Dhabi, UAE in 2017.

Before Joining Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, He worked as an assistant professor at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Amman – Jordan at Electrical Engineering Department and Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering Department. There, he also served as a member of University Quality Assurance QA board, vice Dean for quality assurance of Engineering College and vice dean of Students Affairs Deanship. He also worked as an assistant professor at Szczecin University of Technology, Szczecin – Poland.

Dr. Alkhatib was awarded the Dean’s award for progressive and scientific research from Szczein University of Technology. Also Dr. Alkhatib obtained a research grant from Polish committee for Scientific Research for his pioneering work on Error Estimators in Adaptive Mesh Refinement. Dr. Alkhatib has 19 published refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals and proceedings of international conferences. His current work focuses on renewable energy and machine learning Dr. Alkhatib is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Dr. Alkhatib worked as a consultant in Fund and Grant Management with Sartawi for Consultation, Jordan. Also he was a consultant in Energy Management, Greentech, Jordan.
