Dr. Stefan Tomic

Dr. Stefan Tomic is an Assistant Professor at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computing from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering at the University of Nis, Serbia, in 2013 and 2019, respectively. Prior to joining Abu Dhabi Polytechnic in January 2023, Dr. Tomic worked as a Data Scientist and applied machine learning engineer in Abu Dhabi, followed by an Assistant Professor role in Dubai. Dr. Tomic has authored over 20 research papers, which have been published in reputable journals and presented at international conferences. His main research interest is in the areas of Quantization and Artificial Intelligence.
