ISET4003: Security Governance&Compliance

Description
This course provides a detailed knowledge of IT Governance principles and procedures, and the basic concepts of the ISO 27001 / ISO 27002 standard. The student possesses thorough knowledge about the overall process for establishment and maintenance of an Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The student possesses detailed knowledge about the role of policies, standards and guidelines for controls and is capable of applying his/her knowledge in case studies. Lecture: 2 hrs/week; tutorial: 2 hrs/week; Lab: 2 hrs/week.
