DescriptionThe purpose of this one-week on-campus-training module is to practice hands-on sessions on conducting software security assessment to identify vulnerabilities in web applications, exploit these vulnerabilities, and escalate privileges across the compromised environment. Topics include: security fundamentals, assessment strategies and tools, common vulnerability classes, cryptographic attacks, and privilege escalation. Students will get hands-on experience identifying vulnerabilities in software. Lecture: 1hrs/day; Practical: 3 hrs/day; Lab: 3 hrs/day, one week delivery.
