The Meteorology department is designed to educate high performing national and international students to provide meteorological services using advanced technologies. In 2014, Abu Dhabi Polytechnic and the National Center of Meteorology collaborated to build an educational infrastructure with the objective of developing skilled manpower in the field of Meteorological services for the United Arab Emirates. The department provides a balanced delivery of knowledge and skills through its unique curriculum with a dual system of education and training. Graduates are equipped to undertake employment in Aviation, Marine, Military, Energy and Water resources industries. In addition, the department motivates its students to pursue higher studies in Atmospheric sciences.
