Dr. Murat Elge

Dr. Elge joined Abu Dhabi Polytechnic in 2024. He has expertise in Meteorology and Oceanography and accomplished various jobs in this field during his Navy career either at national or international level. He had also the great opportunity to contribute to Turkish Defense Industry national and indigenous projects carried out under the responsibility of Turkish Ministry of Defense and Directorate of Turkish Defense Industry. Before his retirement from Turkish Navy with the rank of Navy Captain, he has worked at Turkish Navy Headquarter as Head of Navigation, Hydrography, Oceanography and Meteorology Department for Naval Operations.

In his career, Dr. Elge gave Meteorology and Oceanography lectures at Turkish Naval Academy. He also has great expertise in teaching meteorology and oceanography to navy officers and petty officers at vocational and on the job trainings.
