Dr. Reshmi Mohan Puzhukkal

Reshmi Mohan joined Abu Dhabi Polytechnic in 2021. She has over 8 years of expertise in meteorological research. She holds a BSc degree in Physics from the University of Calicut, an MSc degree in Meteorology from Cochin University of Science and Technology in Kerala, India, and a PhD in Atmospheric Science from Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, India, with her research conducted at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research in Tamil Nadu, India. Reshmi has a strong academic background, having published numerous research papers in international journals and presented at various conferences and workshops. She has been recognized with awards for her exceptional presentations of research papers. Proficient in numerical modeling, she is well-acquainted with tools such as the WRF model, WRFDA, Linux, FORTRAN programming, CDO, and visualization tools like GrADS and FERRET. Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Reshmi is an active researcher with interests spanning cyclone dynamics, weather/climate modeling, moist convection, cloud physics, and extreme weather events.
