Description The overall course objective is to develop students knowledge in principles of hydrostatic fluid mechanics including pressure variation, buoyancy, and manometers. Additionally, the course covers principles related to fluid flow, concepts in heat transfer, and the fundamentals of heat exchangers. Furthermore, to equip learners with the critical thinking skills most relevant for further studies. Lecture 2 hours/week, Tutorial 2 hours/week, Lab 2 hours/week. Pre-requisite: MATH1010, CHEM1011.
