Dr. Mohamed Khaled Fawzy

Dr. Fawzy got his BSc. in Gas and Petrochemicals Engineering at Alexandria University in Egypt in 2012. After graduation, he worked as a Mud Engineer for the Egyptian Mud Engineering & Chemicals Company (EMEC) in KSA. He got his MSc. in Chemical Engineering at The University of Bologna in Italy in 2016. His MSc. thesis focused on modeling gas separation by membranes for CO2 capture. He got his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Bologna in Italy in 2020. His PhD thesis regarded the modeling and simulation of sweeping gas membrane distillation for water desalination and treatment in addition to preliminary process development. During the PhD program, he had the chance to spend a research period at The University of Toulouse in France. Dr. Fawzy worked as an Assistant Professor at The American University of The Middle East (AUM) in Kuwait and as an Assistant Professor at The University of Science & Technology (UST) at Zewail City in Egypt. He joined ADPoly in August 2023 as an Assistant Professor in the Petroleum Engineering Technology (PET) Department. Dr. Fawzy got the first rank in The Petroleum Refinery Examination held by The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation in July 2014.
