Eng. Khalid Hussain

Khalid Hussain is a prominent faculty member at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, specializing in Petroleum Engineering and Management. He holds a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Stavanger and an Executive master in management from BI Norwegian Business School, equipping him with a thorough understanding of the field. His expertise covers reservoir engineering and management. At Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, he’s significantly involved in student sponsorships, internships, and employment. Khalid oversees reservoir fluid and rock properties labs, acts as an HSE officer, and has been instrumental in ABET accreditation projects and lab maintenance and operations since 2016. His extensive industry experience includes roles in Norway, such as Calibration Lab Manager at Applus+ and Senior Technical Advisor at Proserv, contributing to his comprehensive knowledge and experience, which he leverages to enrich the academic environment and mentor future engineers.
