- PhD in Aerospace Engineering
Dr. Mariam started her engineering career as a stress engineer in STRATA manufacturing company after graduating from UAEU with a BSc. in mechanical engineering. Shortly afterwards, she joined the master by research program at Khalifa university focusing on defects in thermoset composite aerostructure. Alongside stress concessions and design tasks, her research allowed her to contribute to supporting material and process engineers with concession related to material and autoclave curing issues. To finish her PhD studies, she joined Khalifa university full time as a PhD student and a teaching assistant II for both BSc and MSc courses. Her research studies extended to cover dimensional instability in thermoplastic composites manufactured using thermoforming process using both experimental and simulation studies.
