Applied Bachelor in Electromechanical Systems Engineering Technology Program Educational Objectives

EMET PEO1: Provide a broad-based curriculum that includes laboratory and hands-on training in Electromechanical Engineering Technology that produces graduates having competency in problem solving, industrial safety, plant operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, analysis of plant data, machine interface and programming.

EMET PEO2: Provide students with teamwork experiences and an understanding of the professional and ethical responsibilities while demonstrating effective communication skills and knowledge of related contemporary issues.

EMET PEO3:  Provide students with recognition and the ability to engage in life-long learning and the education necessary to comprehend the impact of the Electromechanical Engineering Technology industry in a global and societal context.

EMET PEO4: Provide students with leadership opportunities through the on-job-training along with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue technical and professional careers in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology.

EMET PEO5: Provide students with a comprehensive curriculum and training necessary to design and integrate engineering systems in Electromechanical Engineering Technology and to prepare them for postgraduate studies.
