Maintenance Training Organization (MTO)

Maintenance Training Organization and the Degree Program

ADPOLY’s Aircraft Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) provides nationally and internationally approved training in aircraft technologies. Nationally, the MTO is approved by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the United Arab Emirates, and internationally, by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) of the European Union. These approvals enable students to complete line mechanic license Category A1 (CAT A1) and base mechanic license Categories B1.1 (CAT B1.1) and B2 (CAT B2). These certifications are fundamental to delivering aircraft maintenance and engineering training and form the basis of our aviation technology degree programs.

The degree programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Education under the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA) and/or the National Qualification Center (NQC). The offered degree programs lead to bachelor's degrees in aviation-related disciplines. Here is a list of these programs:

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (CAT A1)
  • Higher Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology with two specializations:
    • Aeromechanic (CAT B1.1)
    • Avionics (CAT B2)
  • Applied Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance Technology with two specializations:
    • Aeromechanic (CAT B1.1)
    • Avionics (CAT B2)
  • Applied Bachelor in Aircraft Engineering Technology with two specializations:
    • Aeromechanic (CAT B1.1)
    • Avionics (CAT B2)
  • Applied Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance Management (CAT A1)

All degree seekers can earn professional licenses in aviation technologies through the approved training organization, recognized both nationally and internationally. The available license categories are CAT A1, CAT B1.1, and CAT B2.
