Maintenance Training Organization (MTO)

Training Program Structure

The approved MTO program is integrated into the academic curriculum, offering a seamless transition for student trainees to continue their education by pursuing one of the available applied Aviation Bachelor’s Degree programs. Upon successful completion of the training and the supplementary academic program, students earn:

  • A certificate of completion of training, enabling them to apply for the GCAA aircraft mechanic (CAT A) or engineering (CAT B) license.
  • A certificate of completion of training, allowing them to apply for the EASA aircraft mechanic (CAT A) or engineering (CAT B) license.
  • An applied bachelor’s degree in one of the aviation technologies offered by ADP-AA.

The training program consists of 17 modules, each covering specific material relevant to the chosen category. The modules required for each category are outlined in the links below:

  • Basic Training Category A1 (Line Mechanic)
  • Basic Training Airplanes with Gas Turbines Category B1.1 (Aircraft Engineer – Aeromechanic)
  • Basic Training Airplanes with Gas Turbines Category B2 (Aircraft Engineer – Avionics)
