Mr. Ferdinand Mhory C. Caparas

Mr. Caparas graduated from PATTS College of Aeronautics, Philippines with a Diploma in Aircraft Technician Course in 2008 and a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Avionics Technology in 2011. He holds airframe and powerplant and aircraft maintenance specialist licenses from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

In his seven years as an aircraft technician, he experienced working in both line maintenance and heavy maintenance environments on a variety of narrow and wide-bodied aircraft, such as the ATR42/72, A320, A330, A340, A380, B737, B747, B777, and B787. Moreover, he oversaw the production of guidance systems and assisted in the development of UAVs at one company in the UAE. Additionally, he spent three years as a technical instructor in the Philippines, where he trained aspiring and active aircraft engineers. Now, Mr. Caparas strives to pass on his expertise to the next generation of Emirati aircraft engineers.
